Spanish Classes

An early introduction to Spanish increases your child’s chances of becoming bilingual and boosts their aptitude for acquiring other languages later in life.

We adhere to an “earlier is better” bilingual philosophy which targets younger learners: 12 months to 5 years.

Our Spanish Time programme is comprised of weekly sessions that are 45 minutes and incorporate active movement, interactive stories, music and play.

Sessions are conducted in a bilingual format, no child or parent will feel “lost” or feel like they can’t follow along.

Lessons are child centred, meaning it focuses on vocabulary that is important and relevant to a child’s needs and interests .

Activities are theme based and carefully thought out to engage every child’s natural intelligences: auditory, visual, tactile and kinaesthetic.

Targeted vocabulary is reinforced with each activity.

Learning Spanish Together

Our Spanish Time programme is designed to help families learn Spanish together:

Parents learn alongside their children. Lessons support continuous learning and reinforcement by teaching the parent and child easy and common vocabulary and phrases which can easily be incorporated into frequent daily interactions.

Our programme provides resources for parents and includes the option for separate adult instruction and other components to support the children’s learning.

Our programme incorporates limited use of sign language as a non-verbal element which complements and aids verbal language acquisition.
