It was lovely to start the term again last week and today. Even after the long break, some of the children showed encouraging signs of recall and interest including:
- Lewis pointed to the dog puzzle piece when I asked him ¿Dónde está el perro?
- Finlay said “gato” when I stamped the cat on his card
- Lachie said “tuga” when when played the Tortuga game
We are very excited about new materials we have sourced and are introducing in the sessions. Some of the music is available from iTunes while others can be purchased as a CD/book from Fishpond.

Tip of the week: As we have introduced “Pepe” as our Los Chicos mascot, try designating one of your child’s favourite stuffed animals as a Spanish “amigo” who always says “gracias” and “por favor.”
